Declan Rice reveals Ed Sheeran’s signed guitar gift after stunning free-kick against Real Madrid in Champions League

Arsenal playmaker has opened up about the incredible gift he received from a pop superstar after his stunning display against Real Madrid. Rice
and Sheeran’s unlikely bond dates back to the England camp at Euro 2020, when the West Ham midfielders performed a duet of Oasis’ Wonderwall.

Rice has since explained the events that led to him sharing the stage with one of the most successful artists of our generation, saying: “I turned up late to a meeting and they said – you have to sing – and I said – no way, I’m not singing. I’d do nothing but sing – they were all laughing. “

The gift came after Rice’s stunning displays for the European champions, with the 25-year-old netting two incredible free-kicks in Arsenal’s first game as they beat Real Madrid 3-0.
